Gerrit Green studied physics in Kiel and Göttingen, where he received
his master’s degree in 2017. The thesis was written under the supervision
of Dr. Ragnar Fleischmann at the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and
Self-Organization on caustics in nonlinear waves. He joined the group of
Dr. Michael Wilczek in 2017 as a PhD student to work on the effective
description of superstructures in turbulent convection.
