Colin Koch
Colin-Marius Koch studied Physics at the Georg-August University of Göttingen, from where he also received his master's degree. His bachelor's thesis dealt with computer simulations of rare events in cylindrical diblock copolymer systems, whereas his master's thesis dealt with the computational investigation of the role of inertia in active nematic turbulence. In his PhD project he is currently studying the derivation of continuum models from microscopic descriptions for active matter systems.
