Mathematical Models for complex interaction of nerve cells in the brain
Göttingen Spirit Summer School
Until September 12th, a Göttingen SPIRIT Summer school on "Advanced Computational Neuroscience" (aCNS) is taking place in Göttingen. The topic of this year's 10 day school is the complex interaction of nerve cells in the brain and how these interactions can be modeled mathematically. 16 participants from seven nations are learning such mathematical techniques from internationally renowned experts, and applying them in exercise projects. The program is complemented by informal evening lectures from world-leading neuroscientists. This annual Summer School is organized by PhD students of the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics and Self-Organization.
