PhD and postdocs
I have an opening for a PhD position (3 years) on an experimental project in Soft Matter with a flexible starting date between October and December 2024.
Topic: Structure and Dynamics of magnetic ellipsoids monolayers under shear
Description: The project will study the structure and the dynamics of an out-of-equilibrium colloidal 2D crystal of ellipsoidal colloids. The aim is to study the effect of particle anisotropy on the crystal structure and melting. Melting will be induced through shear using an optical tweezers system that will be developed during the PhD project.
