Leonhard A. Leppin joined Dr. Michael Wilczek's group in April 2018 to prepare his master thesis on velocity gradient dynamics and low-dimensional models for the fine-scale structure of turbulence. Leonhard is enrolled in the physics master programme at Georg- August-Universität Göttingen, specialising on the physics of complex systems. Before coming to Göttingen, he finished his B.Sc. in physics at Freie Universität Berlin and wrote his bachelor thesis at Hemlholtz-Zentrum-Berlin on the 'Microstructure of CuInSe2 thin films: Influence of Na content and off-stoichiometry'. During his studies he participated in a one-year exchange scholarship at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong SAR.
