Scientific Advisory Board
A Scientific Advisory Board is constituted for each Institute and Institute-like research facility of the Max Planck Society. The main responsibility of the Scientific Advisory Board is to provide regular evaluations of the Institute’s scientific performance. On the basis of these evaluations, the board advises the Institute and the President of the Max Planck Society on the innovative develop-ment of the Institute’s research activities and the effective de-ployment of funds.
