Jana Lasser used to be a doctoral researcher working on geophysical pattern formation at the MPI-DS – now she is professor for data analysis at the University of Graz. In this talk she will give insights into the different stations of her career, illustrated by glimpses into research projects on the modelling of epidemic spread, misinformation and content rec-ommendation algorithms.
