SFB937

By combining experiments, computer simulations and theory we investigate the active motion, collective behavior and biofilm formation of electroactive bacteria. These organisms exhibit a behavior that spans several length and time scales that can be studied within the framework of nonequilibrium physics. This project connects to a collaborative network of other projects in biological and soft matter within the SFB 937 initiative.
